Autoterminal - UK -- What is the Single Vehicle Approval Scheme or SVA?

The Single Vehicle Approval (SVA) scheme is a pre-registration inspection for cars and light vehicles that have not yet been approved for British or European standards. The main purpose of the scheme is to ensure that these vehicles have been designed and constructed to modern safety and environmental standards before they can be used on public roads.

What we do.
AutoTerminal.com United Kingdom (ATUK) is one of the leading SVA sites in the UK. Aside from selling quality used vehicles from Japan that we comply ourselves, we also service cars purchased from other importers. Customers enjoy the most competitive SVA rates and are assured of the quality of our work through our first-class compliance facilities.

*We will comply any make or model for you!

Workflow and timetable
After we receive an approval from the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency
(VOSA)—which usually takes three or four days from the time we submit the vehicle documents to them-- we can then begin a compliance test on the vehicle and proceed to refit it with an alarm. After 10 to 14 days, the customer can then pickup the vehicle or we can also deliver it to them through our vehicle delivery service at affordable inland transport rates.

SVA Procedure:

*We can do SVA compliance on units that have a model report and are not excessively modified.

We can also do SVA compliance on low production and kit cars.
